I decided it’s time to release my first smoothie recipe on Triple S—one that has gotten a ton of praise over at my house. Introducing … this Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie! 🤗
Let’s get serious here. I’ve had this blog up for a little over a month now and I’ve been skimping out on the drinks section. If you’ve visited my blog, you’ve most likely skimmed my very long list of categories. I’m sure your eyes danced with delight, anticipating a myriad of recipes or information upon clicking on each one.
Sorry to disappoint with all the white space going on. 😞 I don’t want to let you down, but I do want to keep you anxious for the future recipes and blog posts! Someday soon they will be full of my sinless secret creations. 😏
A girl can only do so much! Let’s not forget I’m an author—which takes up A LOT of my time—and working for the family business. I’d rather give you valuable content then throw out just whatever on here. As my readers you deserve the very, very best! 😘
Anyways. This smooth and lightly creamy Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie was birthed after I noticed my brother wasn’t eating enough fruits or vegetables (they say you need at least 2-3 servings per day). As you know, we live together and I do the cooking. Hence, when I see a problem with a lack of vital nutrients I fix it.
What’s a good solution for someone not eating enough fruits and vegetables? A delicious sinless smoothie of course. 😉
This Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie is Michael’s favorite smoothie! His eyes light up like the sun whenever I ask him if he wants me to mix one up. 😍 You’ll see that the ingredient list is very precise. That’s because he told me to write down EXACTLY how I did it the first time. 😂 He’s obsessed with the Oikos peach Greek yogurt so he recommends it for this smoothie, which couldn’t be a better idea.
All the ingredients used to make this smoothie are natural and nutritious, which is surprising since it tastes like a normal sugar-filled, fruity smoothie. You’d never know there was kale in here. This Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie is actually how I got Michael to start eating kale! He’s pretty against most green vegetables, so that was a huge (yet easy) leap for him.
This smoothie even has 100% natural pomegranate juice in it! I’d have it no other way. Don’t even get me started on how against most juices I am. Don’t get me wrong—they are super yummy, but they’re loaded with refined sugar, preservatives, not so natural flavorings, and unwelcomed calories. I’m happy to see that more brands are coming out with just juice!
I discovered this amazing brand, R.W. Knudsen, at the grocery store about a year ago. They carry 100% natural juices without artificial flavors or preservatives, and they’re SO good! It makes it so much fun to mix up smoothies with all the different flavors. It’s definitely my go-to brand.
I hope you enjoy this super delicious sinless Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie! It won’t disappoint you with the energy and feel-good aftereffect! 🙂
