Hey, guys! I’m doing an additional post today—something I think will be useful for this Wednesday, AKA Halloween! 🎃👻🦇🕷We’re talking gluten-free Halloween candy. 😈
Even though I don’t eat store-bought candy anymore, I know most people still do, or at least indulge occasionally. For this reason, I thought it was important to share some helpful information with you. Do you or your kids have a gluten sensitivity/intolerance or celiac disease? If you do, I’m sure Halloween isn’t an easy holiday to swallow—reason being, how do you know which Halloween candies don’t have gluten in them?! 🤷🏻♀️😰 Today, I want to share with you some news that I think could be beneficial to most of us, especially those with kids. I’ll let Jamie from Dentably Magazine take over from here to tell you which Halloween candies, by popular brand, are calling your gluten-free name! 😍🍬🍫
I recently learned that candy corn has been around for 100 years, which is just crazy to think! It was invented in the 1880’s by Goelitz Candy Company and is still produced today by the same company, now known as Jelly Belly Candy Company. And luckily for us with a gluten allergy, intolerance or sensitivity – Jelly Belly’s candy corn is gluten free!!
I know Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I am happy I have passed that tradition down to my daughter. She just loves anything Halloween (especially the candy and treats). I found an excellent source for gluten-free treats I can make for her and her friends at school on Sabrina’s Sinless Secrets!
One of my favorites that I think my daughter will love making with me has to be her Paleo Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Spider Cookies. For some reason my daughter is obsessed with spiders, even though they terrify me, so I know she will get a kick out of making these cookies!
I know Halloween seems to be focused on the candy and treats and that’s why we want it to be a safe and fun holiday for all adults and children. We, at Dentably Magazine, have created this infographic. We wanted to make it easy to see which candy is safe this Halloween for those of you who are gluten-free! We even have a printable option here so you can print it out and take it to the store with you while you shop.
I hope you enjoyed this information! 😊 By the way, how awesome is this infographic?! 🤩 It’s incredibly helpful to see a visual, and with a printable version, you can take it with you on the go. I want to thank Jamie for reaching out to me as well as Dr. Greg and the staff of Dentably Magazine for organizing such useful info for gluten-free Halloween candy.
I will see you guys on Sunday for another sinless Halloween-suitable recipe! ❤️
