This Paleo Banana Bread is moist, soft, sweet, and full of banana flavor! You can enjoy a slice (or two) for a satisfying and yummy breakfast or as a snack/dessert. It’s entirely unbelievable that it’s sinless Paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, clean-eating, and there’s only one tablespoon of oil in the whole recipe. Plus, it’s super easy to make!
Happy New Year and hello, 2018!!🎉 🙌🏼🎉 How was everyone’s new year? Ready for a fresh start? How about I help you with some serious food porn. 😍 Say hello to The Best Paleo Banana Bread! 🍌🍞🤤
A few months ago I asked my mom if she had any requests for new sinless recipes. She didn’t wait to tell me, “banana bread!” Well, Mom, this recipe of The Best Paleo Banana Bread is all for you! 🤗💗
I’ve made this faultless recipe too many times to count by now, because anyone that tries it gets OBSESSED with it, resulting in the whole loaf to disappear in the blink of an eye. 👀🤷🏻♀️ Michael isn’t so much of a banana fan, but I told him he needed to try it, since he is my professional sinless taste tester (such a hard job 😏).
His reaction really couldn’t be written down—just know there was a lot of “Mmmm!” and “Oh my god are you serious?” phrases going down. 🤣
Just when I thought he couldn’t surprise me … again … he fell in love with this Paleo Banana Bread recipe! So much so that he ate half the loaf before my mom came over to try it! 🤭
Normally I keep a close eye on the sinless snack box to make sure it’s fully stocked, but since I told Michael I made the Paleo Banana Bread for our mom I didn’t think twice about it. Plus, he already had other sinless snacks to eat. 😜
The next morning, I was dumfounded when I saw the box was half empty! 😳 I will admit that it did make me smile though, because I love making people happy with my food. ☺️ ❤️ It’s the biggest compliment when they can’t stop eating or raving about it!
Nevertheless, I had the tough job of trying the banana bread beforehand too. After doing so a smile of success made it’s way on my face. 😁 I was completely satisfied! 🙌🏼👏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Kinda like how my mom was when she had it for breakfast the morning after spending the night from out of town. She even wrote me a note saying of amazing it was and how it was “the best!” She can attest to that since she’s tried so many different recipes.
That really put a smile on my face!! 🤩💕
I was so excited to share this recipe with you guys that I didn’t want to hold out any longer, so I made it the first recipe of 2018!! 😋 It’s sinless enough to pull you away from the overflowing sugary desserts from the holidays (which I hope you aren’t still eating 😐), while still acting like a sinful treat! 😈 You’ll feel so bad when you eat this Paleo Banana Bread for breakfast, but then you’ll realize you’re doing nothing but good for your body and soul … so grab yourself another slice and sip on some coffee and/or tea. 😌☕️🍵
Speaking of coffee and tea Michael got me THE BEST mugs this year! They’re Sailor Moon themed! If you didn’t know, Sailor Moon has been with me from childhood and I still think she’s amazing so I’ll never fail to support the moon princess! 🌙👸🏼🌹It makes drinking my coffee and tea so much more magical! ✨ (He also bought me some other Sailor Moon themed items since I didn’t have any prior! I’m going to be doing a post incorporating them in the summer. 😉)
Back to The Best Paleo Banana Bread. The texture will fool anyone into thinking it’s used with traditional flour because it’s so soft and moist! The flavor is perfectly sweet with banana and some maple syrup. After the first bite, you will want to come back for more—guaranteed! 😘
Another thing to celebrate about this recipe is that it’s so versatile, easy to make, and always gratifying! Trust me when I say there’s always a time to have a slice of this Paleo Banana Bread!
I do have to warn you first … there is one bad thing about this Paleo Banana Bread recipe. The amount of time it takes for the bananas to ripen, so stock up! 🤪
Let’s walk through the simple process of making it!
First start by adding all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk them together, so no lumps are present.
Then, mash the 4 very ripe bananas in a large bowl and add the remainder of the wet ingredients and whisk together.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Stir until just incorporated. The less stirring the better! 👍🏼
Pour the batter into a coconut oiled bread pan and smooth out evenly. Tap it a few times on the counter firmly to release any air bubbles and bake on 350°F for 28-30 minutes.
Allow the bread to fully cool in the loaf pan on a cooling rack and then remove and cut into desired slices!
I wish everyone a wonderful year ahead and hope you get to start it off right with The Best Paleo Banana Bread! 😋🤗 Don’t forget to snap a picture 📸 and share it with me on social media, tagging @sabrinassinlesssecrets and hashtagging #sabrinassinlesssecrets so I don’t miss it! ❤️ Enjoy! 😘 #becausesinlessisdelicous #TripleS #sinlesssunday
- 2 ¼ cups blanched almond flour (252g)
- ½ cup tapioca flour/starch (60g)
- 4 medium very ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons – ¼ cup pure maple syrup (can sub raw honey)
- 1 tablespoon organic unrefined, extra virgin coconut oil (14g)
- 1 ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (preferably Ceylon cinnamon)
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 loaf pan with coconut oil and set aside.
- First, add all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk together, so no lumps are present.
- Then, mash the 4 very ripe bananas in a large bowl and add the remainder of the wet ingredients and whisk together.
- Thereafter, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just incorporated. The less stirring the better!
- Lastly, pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth it out evenly. Tap it a few times on the counter firmly to release any air bubbles and bake on 350°F for 28-30 minutes. A toothpick will come out clean when inserted in the middle and the edges will have darkened to a deep golden brown.
