This Paleo Sinless Hot Chocolate is thick, creamy, rich, tasty, and oh so chocolatey. It’s the ideal partner for those cold, winter days! Did I forget to mention it’s refined sugar-free, vegan, and dairy-free as well?
Merry Christmas, everyone! 🎅🎄🎁❄️I’m presenting you today with a festive choice—Paleo Sinless Hot Chocolate! It’s super quick and easy so you can surely whip it up today, while you’re staying warm and cozy indoors with loved ones!
So, I’ve been visiting my parents up North the last few days, and being around snow had me thinking about recipes that are winter companions. Can you say hot chocolate?
There was a time growing up when I would make hot chocolate every night! Nesquik was my nighttime best friend—not to mention marshmallows and whipped cream! Of course, my mom always had those items stocked up.
Since I stopped drinking milk and consuming refined sugar awhile back, traditional hot chocolate and I drifted apart. Sadly, it had been years since I met another like it. On the other hand, I like to think the things that take the longest always yield the highest reward.
There’s no doubt to that when talking about this luscious Paleo Sinless Hot Chocolate.
I managed to do a little chemistry in the kitchen with my good friends: coconut milk, dark chocolate, cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. I’m sure you’ve heard of them—they’re pretty popular around the secret land of Triple S.
Needless to say, I we created a Paleo, refined sugar-free, vegan, dairy-free, and completely sinless version of traditional hot chocolate. This Paleo Sinless Hot Chocolate is to-die-for! It’s thick, creamy, rich, and chock-full of chocolate flavor (as hot chocolate should be), enhanced with just the right amount of sweetness.
However, I couldn’t just bust out the hot chocolate; if I was going to be reunited with this previously loved hot chocolatey beverage I couldn’t be slothful. In that case, I prepared my homemade Paleo Marshmallows, along with my Paleo Vanilla Whipped Cream (coming soon!). My goal was to relive a cherished experience—and I succeeded.
I’m so excited I get to share it with you on this Christmas morning! It’s just so comforting to relish in a warm beverage during the winter and holiday season! There’s something about double-handing that mug and resting it close to your mouth, permitting the wavy steam to brush along your lips and up to your nose. It might have something to do with those intoxicating chocolate love powers I’ve been talking about.
By the way, how cute is this Santa mug? I think it’s the cutest Christmas mug ever! We do secret Santa at my parents’ restaurant where my brother and I work, and, coincidentally, we both picked each other’s names! How weird, right?
Nevertheless, this was one of the gifts he got me! I was overjoyed, because I’d been wanting it to stage a recipe with. Well, after washing it for the second time after its photoshoot, I accidentally bumped the lip of the mug against my kitchen sink. Can you guess what happened? Yes, it chipped. My face went still as I became completely heartbroken. I planned on using it forever! 🙁 Well, at least I got pictures of it.
Anyways, back to the post. I’m a forever fan of this Paleo Sinless Hot Chocolate! The marshmallows get all melty when colliding with the hot temperatures of the rich beverage, while the whipped cream slowly descends its splendor into chocolate liquid, embracing it with a chilled sugar kiss (refined sugar-free kiss, that is). 😉
I promise this recipe won’t disappoint! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, filled with love and cheer! See you next Sinless Sunday! 🙂
P.S. Thanks for all the beautiful styling props, Mom! ❤️
