This Pomegranate Kale Berry Smoothie makes the perfect companion for busy mornings, pre/post workouts, and as an overall tasty treat! After the first sip of this smoothie, the overflowing flavors of fresh fruit and 100% pomegranate juice will have you forgetting that it’s healthy! With a punch of protein and that super-food green vegetable we all love (kale), you’ll want to make this Pomegranate Kale Berry smoothie part of your daily routine!

Serves: 2 smoothies
  • 1 cup kale, no stems!
  • ¾ cup R.W. Knudsen 100% natural pomegranate juice
  • ¼ cup fresh, cubed pineapple
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • 5 whole strawberries, stems removed
  • 5 raspberries
  • 3 blackberries
  • 1 5.3 oz. container Peach Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt (feel free to sub any greek yogurt of your liking!) (*to make this vegan/dairy-free see notes section)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional for sweeter smoothie, taste before adding)
  • 1 tablespoon flax meal (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 handful ice cubes
  1. In a high-speed blender, add the Greek yogurt (or almond milk), juice, and kale. Blend until the kale is fully mixed.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth! Enjoy! :)
To make this smoothie vegan and/or dairy-free sub ⅔ cup coconut cream scrapped from the top of a can of full-fat coconut milk or ⅔ cup of unsweetened almond milk or other non-dairy milk of choice :)
5.3 oz is about ⅔ of a cup of Greek yogurt
This smoothie makes about 2½ cups (suitable for two people)
