This Quick & Easy Paleo Ketchup is different than your average store-bought ketchup—it’s full of freshness and unprocessed ingredients! With just the right touch of spices and flavors this ketchup will surely become your new kitchen staple. This tasty, natural ketchup is refined sugar-free, vegan, gluten-free, and clean-eating!
Serves: about 2¼ cups
  • 2 6 oz. cans tomato paste, organic
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce, organic
  • 3-4 tablespoons filtered water (depending on the consistency you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons – ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey (to taste) (*use maple syrup for vegan)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, organic
  • 1-2 garlic gloves very finely minced
  • ½ small white or yellow onion chopped
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)
  • ¼ - ½ teaspoon finely ground black pepper or white pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon paprika
  • ⅛ teaspoon allspice
  1. In a high-speed blender or food processor, blend the chopped onion and minced garlic until completely smooth (you don’t want any chunks in your ketchup!)
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Transfer the ketchup to a medium saucepan and cook on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Allow the ketchup to reach room temperature before storing in a mason jar or other airtight container in the refrigerator.
  5. Enjoy! :)
This ketchup should last for about 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator. :)
Feel free to half the recipe for a smaller batch or double it for a larger batch!
